Acapela Mobility 7.0 Released
Published: Jun 23, 2007Acapela Mobility 7.0, manufactured by the Acapela Group, offers voice databases ranging from 10 to 60 MB in 21 languages and more than 40 voices. The speech engine enables hands/eyes-free navigation, content reading, voice dialing, data collection, warehousing and assistive tools. It provides Windows Mobile 5 and Linux support, along with customer specific versions for mobile experiences.
The Acapela Mobility CS (Customer Specific) has four extra sets of sampling frequencies and nine voice formats for speech.
The latest brand voices available within Acapela Mobility are French male (Bruno), Swedish male (Erik) and German female (Sarah). Soon Klaus (German male) and Celia’s (Portuguese female) tones will be added. Acapela Mobility 7.0 is available on Windows CE for Pocket PC, Pocket PC 2002, Windows Mobile 2003, Windows mobile 5, Smartphone and Linux.
