Chester Creek Releases KinderBoard and VisionBoard2
Published: Jun 28, 2007
Chester Creek Technologies has updated MyBoard and VisionBoard, besides fitting them with new function keys and a USB interface. While MyBoard III is called KinderBoard, VisionBoard is now VisionBoard2.
KinderBoard consists of a standard-sized keyboard with color-coded and oversized keys suitable for pre-school children and people with visual and/or motor skill disabilities. The assistive technology device comes in most country and language-specific layouts and sports a lot of features. KinderBoard is useful for growing children and the assistive technology market. It is reliable for use in schools, special educational institutions, daycares, retail environments and at home.
According to Jim Gustafson, CEO of Chester Creek Technologies, “The KinderBoard offers a big advantage to children, and those with special needs all over the world.”

With its high-visibility black-on-white or black-on-yellow letters and numbers, the VisionBoard2 keyboard improves readability and reduces eye-strain. The oversized keys are enabling those who find using the typical keyboard difficult or painful. VisionBoard2 is equipped with the same features as KinderBoard and USB support and new F-Keys (function keys) for easy access to main features.
