HP Document Scan Software to Simplify Document Scanning

ScanSoft OmniPage and ScanSoft PaperPort have been integrated with a new document capture application called HP Smart Document Scan Software, Nuance Communication, Inc., recently announced.
The integration will make it easier for business users to turn paper into documents that can be archived, edited and shared. The HP Scanjet 7800, 8390, 8350, 8300 and 8270 models have PaperPort as the document management standard. Â Â Â Â Â
PaperPort provides workgroups and departments with everything required to make document capture and management affordable. Â It makes it easy to organize scanned documents and existing Microsoft Windows folders and files. Same-as-paper document stacking, full support for scan-to-PDF features and workflow connectivity to Microsoft SharePoint and other enterprise content management systems are some of its key features.
Using OmniPage, one can leverage profiles within HP Smart Document Scan Software to automatically process scanned documents. OmniPage comes with advanced document conversion and export features like Open ebook, searchable PDF, Microsoft Office, Corel WordPerfect and book files compatible with Apple iPod devices.
