Madentec Presents TrackerPro
Published: Jun 20, 2007Madentec Limited, a supplier of universal computer access solutions for people with disabilities, today announced the release of TrackerPro - the new miniaturized head-operated mouse.
Mounting Tracker has never been easier. With the small size of TrackerPro you will be able to mount it to your desktop, laptop or Augmentative Communication device quickly and efficiently. “With the lighter weight of TrackerPro, we are able to make use of channel lock (or “super Velcro”) to provide a very strong, yet easily detachable mount,” claims Randy Marsden, President and CEO of Madentec.
TrackerPro comes with a unique USB cable that has a switch jack molded right into it. This means less cabling and a cleaner connection coming from the body of the unit. External switches plug into a y-connector molded into the cable. Plug the second end into the USB mouse port of the computer and you’re ready to go! A tiny speed switch on the back of TrackerPro provides additional adjustability.
“Customers were asking for a smaller version with the same great features as our other Tracker Products,” stated Marsden. “The mounting and adjustability of Tracker has always been one of its strongest features. We’ve managed to retain both in something less than one quarter of the original size. ”Flexible mounting and outstanding adjustability means TrackerPro is much easier for the therapist to position and much easier for the individual to use.”
