MS Access 2007: Accessibility Improvements in Forms
Published: Jun 23, 2007
Forms in MS Access 2007 have been given accessibility improvements. All newly introduced control buttons, such as attachments and complex data combo boxes, are accessible and have a complete MSAA implementation. A major cleanup of the interfaces for controls and the form itself has also been done. The changes, though cosmetic, are consistent across the product.
The biggest improvement is that all the controls that can be used in a form to MSAA are now exposed. This includes lines, rectangles, grouping boxes, OCX/OLE information and more.
The goal to perform accessibility work around tables and other grids, has been achieved in Access in 2007.
