Published: Jun 22, 2007
HIMS, the creators of Braille SENSE, announced the release of a pocket-sized video magnifier, called SenseView P430, at the CSUN 2006 conference. This lightweight mobile magnifier is one of the small-sized magnifiers that actually look more like a trendy gadget then an AT device.
The slick design of the SenseView P430 features a 4.3 inch crystal-clear screen and can reach up to seven times magnification with the use of the folding legs. With six color selection modes (full color, black on white, white on black, yellow on blue, yellow on black, and blue on white) the SenseView P430 comes with a four-step brightness mode and 4.5-hour rechargeable battery. With a size of 3,07” x 0.88” x 5.74” and a weight of one-half pound (221 grams), the device is a lightweight and small-sized addition to the market of mobile magnifiers.
