Published: Jun 20, 2007

Huy Tran of the Swinburne University of Technology submitted the Sensor Braille Keyboard for the Australian Design Awards. The display is designed to help blind computer users improve learning and communication, in an ever-advancing technological world.

The Braille Keyboard is a product that combines two newly develop technologies: the Tactile Pint System and Elek-Tex Soft Technology. Together these systems provide a more ergonomic, functional and durable Braille Display, which allows the user to plug straight into any computer system, making it portable, easy and simple to use.
