SubRosaSoft Offers Free Accessibility Software for Apple Mac

Published: Jun 20, 2007

SubRosaSoft.com LLC, a Mac software company focusing on system utility and data recovery software, today announced the immediate availability of Tiger compatible versions of its freeware ranges - GlobalTraceRoute, Macnifier, and ScreenBoard. SubRosaSoft has also made the software easier to use by removing the requirement to register before use.

SubRosaSoft GlobalTraceRoute shows your choice of maps of the world and maps the route from your computer to another computer on the Internet. Based around the UNIX command “traceroute” GlobalTraceRoute goes one step further to convert Internet addresses into geographical locations.

SubRosaSoft Macnifier displays a magnified portion of your screen in a separate window. Originally designed as a helper application to assist the visually impaired - it has become an ideal tool for Mac graphic design professionals who need pixel-perfect placement and control.

SubRosaSoft ScreenBoard lets others on your network watch your screen in a Web browser. You can select how often you want it and Screenboard will save a screenshot and a Web page to the folder of your choice. If you select to save the files into your built-in personal Web server folder - users on your network or the Internet can view your screen in their browser.

“Arguably the world’s most advanced operating system, Tiger makes it easier than ever to use.” Said Marko Kostyrko, SubRosaSoft’s CEO. “All of our freeware applications, like most of our featured software, are Tiger ready.”

“Based on our user feedback, the new freeware utilities can now be run without registration. However, if you found the software useful, we would appreciate a small donation to some of our favorite charity groups. While most Mac users are blessed with the best operating system in the world, please remember there are some less fortunate.”
